Michael Büge is a German politician currently serving as a member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate and as the chairman of the AfD parliamentary group. Born in Berlin in 1966, he holds a degree in business administration. His political career began in the CDU, during which he served as a district councilor in Berlin-Neukölln and as a State Secretary in the Berlin Senate Department for Health and Social Affairs from 2011 to 2013. Following his departure from the CDU in 2016, he joined the AfD, where he worked as a parliamentary group manager before his election to the state parliament in 2026.
