Mikaele Kulimoetoke

Mikaele Kulimoetoke is a French politician who has served as a Senator for Wallis and Futuna since 2020. A former gendarme, he previously served as a member and president of the Territorial Assembly of Wallis and Futuna from 2014 to 2017. Throughout his career, he has advocated for constitutional reforms to transfer executive power from the French state administrator to the local Territorial Assembly. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he notably expressed opposition to vaccination mandates in the territory.
