Mike Tipping

Mike Tipping is an American politician, writer, and activist serving as a member of the Maine Senate representing District 8. A Democrat, he was elected to his first term in November 2022. Prior to his legislative career, Tipping worked as a progressive activist, advocating for causes such as minimum wage increases, universal home care, and environmental initiatives to clean the Penobscot River. He is also an author, having published a book on Maine politics, and currently serves as a senior strategist for the Maine People's Alliance.
