Mimmy Gondwe

Mimmy Martha Gondwe is a South African politician serving as the Deputy Minister of Higher Education since 2024 and a Member of the National Assembly since 2019. An academic and legal professional by training, she holds a Doctorate of Laws in Mercantile Law from the University of Stellenbosch. Before entering politics, she worked as a Parliamentary Content Advisor and Researcher. During her tenure in the Democratic Alliance, she served in various shadow cabinet roles, including Shadow Minister of Public Enterprises, before joining the Government of National Unity.
