Modeste Kérékou is a Beninese politician and educator who currently serves as the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises and Employment Promotion in Benin, a position he has held since May 2021 under the administration of President Patrice Talon. Born in Cotonou in 1976, he is the son of former President Mathieu Kérékou. Throughout his career, he has served as a member of the National Assembly, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Leisure, and as the Director General of the National Fund for the Promotion of Youth Enterprise and Employment. He holds a degree in Democracy and Governance from the University of Abomey-Calavi.
