Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is an Emirati royal and politician who has served as the third President of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi since 2022. A graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he previously served as a pilot in the UAE Air Force and held various high-ranking military posts. Before his presidency, he was the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and served as the de facto leader of the UAE starting in 2014. His political tenure is characterized by a focus on regional security, economic development, and a strong strategic alliance with the United States, alongside a firm opposition to the Muslim Brotherhood and regional proxies of Iran.
