Mohammad Jawed is an Indian politician and physician serving as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, representing the Kishanganj constituency in Bihar. A member of the Indian National Congress, he was first elected to the Lok Sabha in 2019 and re-elected in 2024. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served as a four-time Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Bihar, where he held ministerial portfolios including Law, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries. He is currently a Whip for the Congress Party in the Lok Sabha and serves as a Secretary of the All India Congress Committee.
