Mohan Charan Majhi

Mohan Charan Majhi is an Indian politician currently serving as the 15th Chief Minister of Odisha since June 2024. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he represents the Keonjhar constituency in the Odisha Legislative Assembly. Majhi, who belongs to the Santal tribal community, began his career as a village sarpanch and a teacher before entering state politics. Throughout his legislative career, he has served as the party's chief whip and chaired the Public Accounts Committee. He is recognized for his rise through the party ranks and his focus on tribal representation in state governance.
