Monica Myrvold Berg is a Norwegian politician and educator who has served as the Mayor of Drammen since 2019. She became the first mayor of the municipality following its merger with Svelvik and Nedre Eiker. Prior to her mayoral tenure, she served on the Nedre Eiker municipal council from 2007 to 2015 and was a representative to the Buskerud county council from 2015 to 2019. Before entering full-time politics, she worked as a teacher and department head at Gulskogen School and later as a department head and acting principal at Hallermoen School. In addition to her political duties, she has been active in local leadership, including serving as the chair of the Drammen Labour Party and as the board chair of Mjøndalen Idrettsforening.
