Nafa Urbach

Nafa Urbach is an Indonesian politician, actress, and singer who served as a member of the House of Representatives (DPR) representing Central Java's 6th electoral district. Before entering politics, she established a successful career in the entertainment industry as a soap opera actress and singer, often noted for her musical style. In 2024, she was elected to the DPR as a member of the NasDem Party. Her tenure was marked by controversy in August 2025, when her public defense of a proposed parliamentary allowance hike triggered widespread civil unrest and protests. Following these events, the NasDem Party announced her suspension from the legislature on August 31, 2025.
