Nafisa Shah

Nafisa Shah is a Pakistani politician and academic who has served as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since 2024, having previously held the seat from 2008 to 2023. A member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, she previously served as the Nazim of District Khairpur from 2001 to 2007. Dr. Shah holds a doctorate in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Oxford, where her research focused on honour killings in Sindh. She is also a published author and has held leadership roles in the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and the National Commission for Human Development.
