Marina Nagata is a Japanese politician and former freelance announcer currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Kamakura, Kanagawa, she graduated from Ferris University and initially worked in media, including as a reporter for Kamakura Cable Television. Her political career began with two terms in the Kamakura City Council, followed by two terms as a member of the Kanagawa Prefectural Assembly. In 2026, she was elected to the House of Representatives representing the Kanagawa 4th district after defeating the incumbent candidate. She is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party.
