Nahid Hasan

Nahid Hasan is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the 18th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Kairana constituency. A member of the Samajwadi Party, he has held this legislative seat for three consecutive terms, having been first elected in a 2014 by-poll and subsequently re-elected in 2017 and 2022. Hasan, who holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Holmes Institute in Sydney, comes from a prominent political family in the Shamli district. His career has been marked by significant electoral success in Kairana, though he has also faced various legal challenges throughout his tenure.
