Nancy Murphy

Nancy A. Murphy is an American politician currently serving as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing the Hillsborough 21 district. First elected to the state legislature in 2018, she has secured multiple terms, most recently winning re-election in November 2024. In addition to her legislative duties, Murphy has served on the Merrimack town council since 2021. A nurse by training, she holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Boston University. Politically, she is a member of the Democratic Party and has been noted for her support of progressive figures, including endorsing Bernie Sanders during the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries.
