Nasril Bahar is an Indonesian politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) representing the North Sumatra III electoral district for two consecutive terms from 2004 to 2014. During his tenure, he was assigned to Commission VI, which oversees trade, industry, investment, cooperatives, and state-owned enterprises. Beyond his parliamentary work, he has been active in various organizations, including the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) in North Sumatra and the Muhammadiyah youth movement. He is a graduate of the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra and has also pursued a career in the private sector as a business director.
