Nelson del Valle

Nelson del Valle Colón is a Puerto Rican politician affiliated with the New Progressive Party. He served as a member of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives from 2005 to 2008 and later represented District 9 until his resignation in August 2020 following federal charges. He earned a degree in business administration from the Metropolitan University in Puerto Rico and previously worked as a legislative aide following an unsuccessful mayoral primary run in Toa Alta in 2008. In September 2022, he was sentenced to 57 months in prison following an FBI arrest for corruption-related charges.
