Nelson Janßen is a German politician and a member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, representing the constituency of Bremerhaven. Born in Wuppertal in 1990, he studied political science at the University of Bremen and became active in the youth organization Linksjugend ['solid]. He joined the party The Left in 2009 and served as a local council member in Haan from 2010 to 2014.
