Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is a Namibian politician serving as the fifth and current president of Namibia since March 2025, making history as the country's first female president. A long-time member of the ruling SWAPO party and the National Assembly, she previously served as vice president, deputy prime minister, and held various ministerial portfolios including International Relations and Cooperation and Environment and Tourism. Active in the liberation struggle from a young age, she has had an extensive career in government and party leadership.
