Ng Chee Meng is a Singaporean politician and union leader who currently serves as the Member of Parliament for Jalan Kayu Single Member Constituency. A former Lieutenant-General in the Republic of Singapore Air Force, he served as Chief of Air Force from 2009 to 2013 and Chief of Defence Force from 2013 to 2015. Entering politics in 2015, he has held various ministerial positions, including Minister for Education (Schools) and Minister in the Prime Minister's Office. Since 2018, he has served as the Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress, focusing on labor advocacy and industrial relations within Singapore.
