Nguyễn Tân Cương is a Vietnamese politician and General of the Vietnam People's Army. Currently serving as the Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Minister of National Defence, he is also a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Born in 1966 in Ha Nam Province, he has had a distinguished military career, including commanding the 4th Military Region and serving in various high-level staff and command roles. He is a deputy to the 16th National Assembly of Vietnam representing Dong Thap Province.
