Nicolae Dandiș

Nicolae Dandiș is a Moldovan politician, academic, and social activist who has served as the Mayor of Cahul since July 2015. A pro-European and centre-right figure, he was elected as an independent candidate. Dandiș holds a PhD in political science and has worked as a lecturer at the Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu State University in Cahul. In addition to his mayoral duties, he is active in local governance organizations, including serving as a vice president of the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova (CALM).
