Nicolas Dragon

Nicolas Dragon is a French politician who has served as a member of the National Assembly for the 1st constituency of Aisne since 2022. A native of Laon, he has also held a seat as a municipal councillor in his hometown since 2020, having previously served in that capacity from 1995 to 2001. Initially identifying as a social Gaullist, Dragon worked as a communications consultant before shifting his political alignment toward the National Rally. He successfully defeated the incumbent in the 2022 legislative elections and secured reelection in the 2024 snap election with an absolute majority in the first round. He is known for his opposition to globalist policies and his focus on regional representation within the Aisne department.
