Niklas Karlsson is a Swedish politician and a member of the Riksdag, representing Skåne County West since 2014. Born in 1974, he is the son of politician Anders Karlsson and has been active in local government as a member of the Landskrona municipal council since 1994. Before his national parliamentary career, he served as a sergeant in the Wendes Artillery Regiment. He was educated in Landskrona and attended Lund University, and he continues to serve as a representative for the Social Democratic Party in the Swedish national legislature.
