Nily Rozic is an American politician serving as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 25th district since 2013. Born in Jerusalem to Argentine parents, she is the first Israeli-born member of the New York State Assembly. Before her election, she served as chief of staff to Assemblyman Brian Kavanagh. Throughout her tenure, she has focused on consumer protection, labor rights, and public safety, including legislation to address reckless driving and expand hospital language services. She is a member of several legislative caucuses and committees, including the Rules and Ways & Means committees.
