Nooshi Dadgostar is a Swedish politician who has served as the leader of the Left Party since 2020 and as a member of the Riksdag since 2014. Born in Ängelholm to parents who fled Iran as refugees, she became involved in the Young Left at age 14 and later served on the municipal council of Botkyrka. As party leader, she gained national prominence in 2021 for initiating a successful vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister Stefan Löfven over proposed rent control reforms.
