Obon Tabroni is an Indonesian politician and former labor activist currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Representing the West Java VII electoral district, he was first elected in 2019 and secured a second term in 2024. Before entering national politics, he was a prominent leader in the Federation of Indonesian Metal Workers Unions (FSPMI) and a founder of the Jamkes Watch health monitoring organization. He gained national attention for his advocacy in the 'Buruh Go Politic' movement, which encourages laborers to participate directly in the legislative process. Tabroni previously ran as an independent candidate for Regent of Bekasi in 2017 before joining the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra).
