Мариковский, Александр Валерьевич

Oleksandr Marikovskyi is a Ukrainian politician and economist serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine in the IX convocation. A graduate of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, he previously worked as an IT company director and consultant, specializing in information policy and environmental issues. As Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management, he is known for his advocacy in digital governance and anti-corruption. He gained international attention in 2023 for his defense of the Ukrainian flag during a diplomatic incident in Ankara.
