Once Mekel

Once Mekel is an Indonesian politician, singer, and entrepreneur currently serving as a Member of the House of Representatives. Before entering politics, he gained national prominence as the lead vocalist of the legendary rock band Dewa 19, contributing to several best-selling albums. A law graduate from the University of Indonesia, he has also worked as a legal coordinator and researcher. In his political career, he represents the Jakarta II constituency, focusing on issues related to the music industry, intellectual property, and environmental sustainability.
