Percy Fernández

Percy Fernández Añez was a prominent Bolivian civil engineer and politician who served as the mayor of Santa Cruz de la Sierra for six terms. A graduate of the National University of Córdoba in Argentina, he began his career in public works before entering politics, serving as a senator and holding various leadership roles in regional development committees. Throughout his long career, he was associated with the Nationalist Revolutionary Movement and later founded his own political group, Santa Cruz Para Todos. He is remembered as a transformative figure in the urban development of Santa Cruz, serving his final term from 2015 until 2020.
