Pero Kostadinov

Pero Kostadinov is a North Macedonian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Valandovo. Born in 1987 in Valandovo, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje in 2009. Before his political career, he worked at IGM AD Elenica in Strumica and Eco Greenhouses Anska-Reka in Valandovo. Kostadinov served as a member of the Valandovo Municipal Council from 2015 to 2017 before being elected mayor in 2017. He has focused his tenure on digitalization initiatives to improve government transparency, efficiency, and local inclusiveness. In 2021, he was also elected as the chair of the Central Board of the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM).
