Pete Stauber

Pete Stauber is an American politician and former professional hockey player currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 8th congressional district. A former Duluth police officer and St. Louis County commissioner, Stauber was first elected to Congress in 2018. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on issues such as natural resources, energy policy, and rural economic development. He is a member of the Republican Party and has held various committee assignments, including leadership roles within the House Committee on Natural Resources.
