Peter Pollák is a Slovak politician of Romani origin who has served as a Member of the European Parliament. Born in Levoča, he made history in 2012 by becoming the first member of Romani origin elected to the National Council of Slovakia. Throughout his career, Pollák has focused on issues concerning Romani communities, previously serving as the Government Plenipotentiary for Roma Communities in Slovakia.
