Phangnon Konyak is an Indian politician from Nagaland who made history in March 2022 by becoming the first woman elected to the Rajya Sabha from the state. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, she serves as the State President of the BJP Mahila Morcha in Nagaland. In July 2023, she achieved another milestone as the first woman appointed to the Panel of Vice-Chairpersons of the Rajya Sabha. She is actively involved in parliamentary committees focusing on transport, tourism, culture, and women's empowerment.
