Pierre Ismaël Bidoung Kpwatt is a Cameroonian politician, academic, and playwright currently serving as the Minister of Arts and Culture. Born in Nanga Eboko, he previously held several ministerial portfolios, including Minister of Sports and Physical Education and Minister of Youth and Civic Education. Before entering national politics, he served as the director of the National Institute of Youth and Sports. He is a prominent member of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement and has authored several literary works, including plays and cultural studies.
