Piotr Babinetz

Piotr Mieczysław Babinetz is a Polish politician, historian, and local government official serving as a member of the Sejm since 2007. A member of the Law and Justice party, he has represented the Krosno constituency across multiple parliamentary terms. Throughout his career, he has held significant roles, including chairing the Sejm Committee on Culture and Media and serving as a member of the National Media Council since 2022. His political work focuses on cultural policy and state oversight, and he previously served as a councilor in the Podkarpackie Regional Assembly.
