Rainer Rothfuß

Rainer Rothfuß is a German politician serving as a member of the Bundestag for Bavaria since 2023. Born in Freudenstadt in 1971, he studied geography in Tübingen and Stuttgart. Rothfuß began his political career with the Christian Social Union in 2004 before transitioning to the Alternative for Germany (AfD) in 2018. After an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the 2021 federal election, he entered the Bundestag in 2023 following the death of Corinna Miazga.
