Ramid Namazov is an Azerbaijani politician currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the Third Absheron Constituency No 50. Before his election in 2024, he held various positions within the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan from 2005 to 2024. He is the Chairman of the Temporary Commission against Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats and serves as the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Namazov holds degrees from Baku State University, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Johns Hopkins University.
