Renuka Mayadev is an American nonprofit executive and Democratic politician serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly for the 77th district since January 2025. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she earned a degree in economics from Northwestern University and a law degree from Georgetown University. Before entering the legislature, she served as a policy advisor to Ohio Governor Ted Strickland and held leadership roles at the Children's Defense Fund and United Way. Mayadev is a program advisor for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and co-founded the first Asian Caucus in the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2025.
