Roberto Julio Castro Salazar is a Bolivian politician, architect, and businessman currently serving as the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Elected as a plurinominal deputy for the Department of Chuquisaca in the 2025 general elections, he secured the presidency of the Chamber with broad cross-party support, ending two decades of leadership by the Movement for Socialism. Before his political career, he worked as an expert witness in the Chuquisaca justice system and as an arbitrator for the local Chamber of Industry. He is a member of the College of Architects of Bolivia and is fluent in English, German, and Quechua.
