Rod Frank

Rod Frank is a Canadian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Strathcona County, Alberta, a position he has held since 2017. Before entering municipal politics, he worked as a corporate lawyer for TELUS, headed the Canadian Bar Association's National Competition Law Section, and served as president of the Edmonton Wildcats Junior Football Club. A self-described social progressive and fiscal conservative, Frank has focused his mayoral tenure on economic development, fiscal management, and supporting Alberta's energy sector. He holds degrees in business and law from the University of Alberta.
