Rodrigo Arenas is a French politician and former educational activist who currently serves as a member of the French National Assembly for the 10th constituency of Paris. Born in Valparaíso, Chile, he arrived in France as a child and later pursued studies in economics and communication. Before his election to the National Assembly in 2022, he was a prominent figure in the education sector, notably serving as co-president of the FCPE, the largest parents' association in France, from 2018 to 2021. Throughout his career, he has focused on educational reform, social justice, and ecological issues. While affiliated with La France Insoumise, he has occasionally taken independent stances, including his public condemnation of Hamas following the October 7 attacks.
