Roger Wicker

Roger Wicker is an American politician and attorney currently serving as the senior United States Senator from Mississippi, a position he has held since 2007. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2007 and in the Mississippi State Senate from 1988 to 1995. Wicker is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served as a judge advocate and later in the Air Force Reserve. Throughout his legislative career, he has focused on issues such as national defense, transportation, and economic development, and he currently chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee.
