Roman Kostenko is a Ukrainian politician, military officer, and People's Deputy of Ukraine. A colonel in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and a veteran of the war in Donbas, he is widely recognized for his service in the Special Operations Center 'A' and his role in the defense of Mykolaiv during the 2022 Russian invasion. Elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019 as a member of the Holos party, he serves as the secretary of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense, and intelligence. He is also a deputy member of the Permanent Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
