Roman Romulo is a Filipino politician and lawyer currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Lone District of Pasig. First elected in 2007, he served until 2016 and returned to the position in 2019. A graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Law, Romulo is recognized for his legislative work in education, notably authoring the Iskolar ng Bayan Act of 2014, which provides scholarships to top public high school graduates.
