Roman Zarzycký

Roman Zarzycký is a Czech politician and manager currently serving as the Mayor of Plzeň, a position he has held since October 2022. A member of the ANO 2011 movement, he previously served as the First Deputy Mayor of Plzeň and as a Deputy Governor of the Plzeň Region. Although he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic in the 2025 parliamentary election, he resigned from his parliamentary mandate in November 2025 to focus on his duties as mayor. Before entering politics, he worked in media management and as an executive director for the HC Škoda Plzeň ice hockey club.
