Romeo Acop

Romeo Acop was a Filipino politician, lawyer, and police officer who served as the representative for Antipolo's second district from 2010 to 2019, and again from 2022 until his death in 2025. Educated at the Philippine Military Academy and José Rizal University, he previously had a distinguished career in the Philippine National Police, reaching the rank of chief superintendent. During his congressional tenure, he was noted for his anti-corruption efforts, including flagging questionable confidential funds and participating in major legislative inquiries.
