Roy Daryl Adams

Roy Daryl Adams is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 62nd district. First elected in a special election on March 30, 2019, he initially served as an Independent before switching his party affiliation to the Democratic Party in April 2023. Outside of his legislative career, Adams is a business owner and entrepreneur, having founded Adams Enterprises, a grocery store, and worked as an independent contractor for Capital City Press. His legislative work includes participation in the Administration of Criminal Justice committee, where he has been involved in debates regarding public school policies and legal protections.
