Takács Árpád

Árpád Takács is a Hungarian politician and engineer who serves as a member of the National Assembly representing Fidesz. Before entering national politics, he had a distinguished career in law enforcement and disaster management, holding the rank of fire brigade brigadier general. He played a key role in managing major national disasters, including the 2010 red sludge catastrophe, and served as the government commissioner and later the head of the Békés County Government Office. He holds degrees in civil engineering, law, and wildlife management.
