Rusdi Kirana

Rusdi Kirana is an Indonesian businessman and politician who currently serves as a Deputy Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) for the 2024–2029 term. He is widely recognized as the founder of the Lion Air Group, which revolutionized the Indonesian aviation industry by introducing a low-cost carrier model. Before entering parliament, he served as the Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia from 2017 to 2020 and was a member of the Presidential Advisory Council. Following his election to the House of Representatives in 2024, he retired from his business leadership roles to focus on his legislative duties, with a stated policy interest in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
