Ruud van den Belt

Ruud van den Belt is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Steenbergen since November 30, 2015. Before his current appointment, he held various roles in local government, including serving as an alderman and deputy mayor in Geertruidenberg from 2010 to 2014, where he was affiliated with the local party Keerpunt 74. His professional background also includes experience as a director for the municipality of Geertruidenberg, as well as roles in management consulting and corporate leadership. Van den Belt is also known for his philanthropic work, including his position as an unpaid ambassador for the Stichting Ban Proteha Kerki 1846, an organization dedicated to the preservation of historical sites in Aruba.
